Why conifers break the normal schedule
Deciduous trees drop their leaves in one predictable window, which is what the standard twice-a-year schedule is built around. Pines, firs, and cedars don’t. They shed steadily across the whole year, so there is no season when a conifer-shaded gutter is reliably clear.
